Social Service Initiative By Sanghamitra Tai Gaikwad On The Death Anniversary Of Late Tulsiram Gundaji Gaikwad

Mumbai : Senior leader of RPI (Athawale Group), Sanghamitra Tai Gaikwad, organized various welfare programs  Maharashtra Pune on the occasion of the death anniversary of her late father, Tulsiram Gundaji Gaikwad. Since his passing on March 26, 1985, she has dedicated this day every year to serving the underprivileged, keeping his values of social service alive.

Educational Material Distribution for Students – A Step Towards a Brighter Future

Understanding that education is the foundation of social progress, Sanghamitra Tai distributed notebooks, books, pens, slates, and other educational materials to needy students across Maharashtra. This initiative aimed to support children in their academic journey and provide them with essential resources.

Support for Orphanages and Old Age Homes

Essential items like food, clothing, fruits, and ration kits were distributed to orphanages and old age homes. Special efforts were made to ensure that orphans received toys, clothes, and snacks, while the elderly were provided with daily necessities to improve their quality of life.

Ration and Essential Supplies for the Poor

Underprivileged families received ration kits, including rice, lentils, oil, sugar, and spices, to help ease their daily struggles. Additionally, the Buddhist monk community was provided with robes (Chivara) and other essential supplies as a mark of respect and support for their way of life.

A Tribute to Late Tulsiram Gundaji Gaikwad – Carrying Forward the Legacy of Social Service

Remembering her father, Sanghamitra Tai Gaikwad said,

“My father, Late Tulsiram Gundaji Gaikwad, always believed in the welfare of society. It is a matter of pride for me to carry forward his vision. Helping those in need is the best way to honor his memory on his death anniversary.”

An Inspiring Example of Social Work

The initiative saw active participation from Susmita Gaikwad, Praniti Gaikwad, Sushim Gaikwad, Rahul Nikumbe, Janhavi Gaikwad, and several other dedicated volunteers. Their collective efforts ensured that the benefits of this program reached thousands of people in need.

Sanghamitra Tai Gaikwad’s commitment to social work is not limited to just one day but continues throughout the year. Her efforts serve as an inspiration for many, making a meaningful impact on the lives of the underprivileged.

Recent sculptures made by a well-known sculptor, Kiran Shigvan is showing in a solo art exhibition at Jehangir Art Gallery, M.G. Road, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai 400 001 from 25^th to 31^st March 2025 between 11am to 7pm.

This show was inaugurated on 25th March 2025 by Hon. Prof. Prakash Arjun Rajeshirke (Chairman, Sahyadri School of Art, Sawarde), Vinita Mirchandani (Owner of Studio 3 Art Gallery), Sudhir Patwardhan (Eminent Artist) among others.

The present series incorporates his creative and innovative sculpture on bulls, horses, spiritual icons, idols etc in Bronze & FRP. The special features of his work are the superb finesse and textural finish for the creative endeavors in his unique creative style. They transcend form and materials in addition to very essence of human experience. Using both traditional techniques and contemporary sensibilities he has created these sculptures which duly explore the delicate balance between nature, culture and identity in apt perspectives. These innovative works are not only captivating, eye catching and lucid but also eloquent and creative in their own way. These in turn, share a dialogue with the viewers and onlookers leading to their warm response and due appreciations. His thoughtful and superb innovations soon leave their indelible impact on all leading to their applauds and positive response.

यह चौदह सौ साल पहले की कहानी है, जिसमें देवी-देवताओं की मूर्ति पूजा का विरोध और एक ईश्वर में दृढ़ विश्वास दर्शाया गया है। बिलाल अपनी माँ और अपनी छोटी बहन घुफ़ैरा के साथ गाँव के बाहरी इलाके में शांतिपूर्ण जीवन व्यतीत करता है, जब तक कि बीजान्टिन सैनिक आकर उन्हें गुलाम नहीं बना लेते और उसकी माँ को मार नहीं देते।

बचपन में उसे मक्का शहर के सबसे अमीर आदमी उमय्याह को गुलाम के तौर पर बेच दिया जाता है, जो कुरैश के नेताओं में से एक है। उमय्याह का बेटा सफ़वान अपने दोस्तों के साथ मिलकर बिलाल की बहन घुफ़ैरा को धमका रहा है और उसे तीर से मारने ही वाला है कि बिलाल बीच में आकर उसे बचा लेता है। उमय्याह को अपने एक व्यापारी से इस बारे में पता चलता है और वह बिलाल को उसकी क्रूरता की याद दिलाता है और फिर गार्ड को उसे कोड़े मारने का आदेश देता है। उसके बाद, उमय्याह सफ़वान को एक गुलाम से हारने और उसे शर्मिंदा करने के लिए थप्पड़ मारता है।

एक दिन, बिलाल एक भूखे युवा लड़के को मूर्ति के कटोरे से चोरी करने से रोकता है ताकि उसे मक्का के पुजारी के पहरेदारों की पिटाई से बचाया जा सके। वह बदले में लड़के को अपना खाना देता है। उसकी दयालुता को अबू बकर देखता है, जो सभी के लिए समानता में विश्वास करता है और बिलाल में महानता देखता है। हालाँकि, बिलाल को उस पर और उसकी मान्यताओं पर संदेह है, वह ऐसा भविष्य नहीं देख पा रहा है जहाँ गुलामों के साथ उचित व्यवहार किया जाता हो। बिलाल अपने विश्वास को स्वीकार करता है कि केवल एक ईश्वर है। वह यह भी सीखता है कि उमय्या जैसे लोग भी गुलाम हैं, उनका स्वामी लालची है।

कहानी बदल जाती है, अबू बकर बिलाल को रिहा कर देता है। फिर बिलाल को हमजा द्वारा तलवार से लड़ना सिखाया जाता है, जो पालक भाई, पैतृक चाचा और आंदोलन के नेता के साथियों में से एक है, जबकि वह भी उनके साथ उत्तर की ओर यात्रा कर रहा है, मक्का वासियों के उत्पीड़न से बच रहा है। एक साल बाद, महान शहर यथ्रिब में प्रवास के बाद, जिसे अब मदीना नाम दिया गया है, सफवान बिलाल को घुफैरा के बालों का एक गुच्छा भेजता है। इसे प्राप्त करने के बाद बिलाल तुरंत मक्का वापस चला जाता है, उसके पीछे हमजा भी जाता है। कैसे बिलाल उमय्या को मारता है और अंत में क्या होता है, यह बहुत खूबसूरती से दिखाया गया है।

यह फिल्म पैगंबर के साथी बिलाल के जीवन पर आधारित है, जो गुलाम के रूप में पैदा हुए थे और वह पहले व्यक्ति बने जिन्होंने आस्थावानों को प्रार्थना के लिए ‘अज़ान’ के लिए बुलाया,अबू बकर के चरित्र को केवल व्यापारियों के भगवान के रूप में संदर्भित किया गया है। यहां तक कि पैगंबर मुहम्मद का भी उल्लेख नहीं किया गया है! हां, इस्लामी परंपरा में, हम पैगंबर मुहम्मद को चित्रित करने में विश्वास नहीं करते हैं, लेकिन इस फिल्म में उनका उल्लेख भी नहीं किया गया है! इसलिए इस विशेष पहलू में, मैं कहूंगा कि शांति और इस्लामी मानवता का संदेश जैसी फिल्में विश्व एकता के लिए संदेश भी फैलाती हैं।

यह दुबई की पहली एनिमेटेड फीचर है, जिसमें मुस्लिम या इस्लाम शब्दों का उपयोग किए बिना युवा दर्शकों को मुस्लिम आस्था के समावेशी, गैर-भेदभावपूर्ण पहलुओं के बारे में उपदेश देने के लिए तैयार की गई कहानी में शीर्ष श्रेणी की कलाकृति का उपयोग किया गया है। कुल मिलाकर, फिल्म बहुत अच्छी है। यह एक आश्चर्यजनक रूप से बनाई गई फिल्म नहीं है, लेकिन साथ ही, यह एक ऐसी फिल्म है जिसका हम सम्मान करते हैं क्योंकि उन्होंने बहुत मेहनत की है। यदि आप मुस्लिम हैं, तो आपको फिल्म में निराशा और आश्चर्य का मिश्रण महसूस हो सकता है। यदि आप गैर-मुस्लिम हैं और/या यह पहली बार है जब आप बिलाल की कहानी देख रहे हैं, तो आपको यह काफी मनोरंजक लगेगी। भारतीय उपयोगकर्ताओं के लिए, इसका हिंदी डब संस्करण ईद के अवसर पर जारी
