Actress and famous model Mahima Gupta was honored with the Legend Dada Saheb Phalke Award 2025 ceremony held at Classic Club, Andheri, (Mumbai) in the presence of Bollywood’s famous singer Udit Narayan, actor Ali Khan, Sanand Verma, musician Dilip Sen and ACP Sanjay Patil for her significant contribution in the field of Hindi web series.

Born in a middle-class Hindu family in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Mahima initially worked as an  artist in various television serials and films. Her acting journey began in 2020 with the project ‘The Cage of Life’. Despite facing many challenges and failures, she ventured into the online streaming platform, where she gained immense popularity.

She has shown her acting skills in more than 50 web series projects like ‘I Love Us 3’, ‘Tu Meri Aashiqui Hai’, ‘The Devil Inside’, ‘Shukla the Terror’, and ‘Bhootiyaapa’. Popular Bollywood actress and model Mahima Gupta is best known for her role as Sarika in LT Balaji’s web series ‘Gandi Baat’, which brought her widespread recognition and praise.

वर्तमान में, नागा चैतन्य पूरी तरह से अपने अगले बड़े फ़िल्म पर काम कर रहे हैं – उनकी 24th फ़िल्म जिसका नाम अस्थायी रूप से NC24 है।कार्तिक वर्मा दांडू द्वारा निर्देशित, NC24 को एक भव्य रहस्यमय थ्रिलर के रूप में पेश किया जा रहा है। इस परियोजना को निर्माता बीवीएसएन प्रसाद ने सुकुमार के साथ मिलकर SVCC और सुकुमार राइटिंग्स के बैनर तले बनाया है।

चैतन्य के जन्मदिन पर, टीम ने एक दिलचस्प पोस्टर जारी किया, जिसमें पौराणिक कथाओं के साथ एक साहसिक और बीहड़ चरित्र की ओर इशारा किया गया है।  अजनीश लोकनाथ के संगीत के साथ, NC24 नागा चैतन्य को एक नए और ताज़ा, शक्तिशाली अवतार में नागा दिखाई देंगे।

“A Dream Come True”: Samayera Khan On Her Experience Working With Ramsay House Productions

Samayera Khan is absolutely over the moon, and it’s easy to see why. The talented actress has snagged a role in Ramsay House Productions’ newest horror series, which has been creating quite a buzz since its debut on March 23rd. In a candid conversation, Samayera shares her thoughts on working with the team, her character, and what attracted her to this project.

“I’m really excited to be involved in this show,” Samayera expresses. “The crew is so friendly, and Asghar Ali stands out as a genuinely humble and kind person. He’s a true gentleman, and collaborating with him is a joy.”

In the series, Samayera takes on a villainous role, but she’s eager to point out that her character will experience significant development throughout the plot. “I can’t wait to dive into the different aspects of my character,” she shares. “It’s a tough role, but I’m loving every moment of it.”

New Indo Ecuador Film And Cultural Forum Launched To Strengthen Bilateral Relations

Noida, April 30, 2025: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in collaboration with the Embassy of Ecuador in India, formally inaugurated the Indo Ecuador Film and Cultural Forum at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. This initiative aims to deepen cultural, artistic, and people-to-people ties between the Republic of Ecuador and the Republic of India through films, media, and performing arts.

The launch ceremony was graced by H.E. Fernando Bucheli, Ambassador of Ecuador to India, who officially released the poster of the Forum at the international headquarters of ICMEI. Addressing the audience, Ambassador Bucheli stated, “This forum will play a significant role in enhancing understanding, friendship, and cooperation between the people of Ecuador and India. We look forward to a vibrant exchange of art, culture, and cinematic creativity.”

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chancellor of AAFT University, welcomed the initiative with great enthusiasm. While Isha has been involved in numerous projects, she feels a stronger connection to stories that are deeply intertwined with tradition and heritage. “Out-of-the-box stories are fine, but I truly enjoy projects that highlight sabhyachar and depth.”

When asked about her guiding philosophy, Isha shares a heartfelt life motto: “Zindagi kuch is tarah arz hai, kuch qarz hai, kuch farz.” This beautifully reflects her down-to-earth and spiritual outlook on life.

Dr. Ashvini Persaud of New York, co-founder of pop-ups International Museum of The Saree (IM of The Saree) and Green Fashion, Art & Design Museum (Green FAD), was recently named one of the top 30 influential women of Indian heritage by Mid-day. In an Mid-day’s interview, Business Advisor Ashvini humbly highlighted the organizations’ efforts to empower, educate, and archive the legacy of sarees, related Indian apparels and the people who honor them. She also provided advice to women and entrepreneurs.
